Our team services boiler systems of all types. Customers have loved our response times to emergency no-heating calls for buildings with 500,000 sq. ft. of tenant spaces. ETS technicians are trained, experienced, and certified in gas, open flame, power burners, water, and steam systems. We recently replaced a sectional steam boiler with a Beckett power burner that operates at 9 psi of steam. Energy Tech Solutions will provide a digital combustion analysis on your boilers to ensure they are working properly.
Building Automation Systems (BAS) essential in the modern world for HVAC and lighting. In today’s economics, rising energy costs drive innovation for better ways to control your facilities’ energy consumption. We provide service, new installations, emergency response services for building automation, repairs, and replacements on control systems that run your HVAC systems. We have broad experience in diagnostics, repairs, and replacements on building automation systems.
Data Center Systems
ETS has built its name working for customers with critical data in their facilities. Our routine maintenance schedules and expertise in data room services helps our clients maintain mission critical facility status. We are Liebert certified, and provide maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs for our clients.
Energy Tech has experience on pressurized water loops in processing, chilled water, hot water, and domestic. Our team provides services on piping repairs and replacements. We have chemical treatment partners that help us determine the right plans for scaling and protecting the integrity of the piping during its lifetime. ETS provides diagnostics, repairs, and replacements on expansion tanks, mixing valves, air separators, make-up water feeds systems, balancing valves, control valves, and glycol feed systems. We recently pumped 3,000 gallons of propylene glycol in a chilled water system to prevent the piping from freezing during -15 degree temperatures.
Cooling Towers are critical systems that require maintenance inspections, cleanings, and emergency repairs. Every cooling tower manufacturer has different maintenance schedules and duties to perform to keep the systems in optimal conditions. We recently replaced two 40 Horse-Power cooling tower fan motors on a BAC tower for a GSA government entity.
During the commissioning of pump installations, it is critical that the contractor aligns the pump assemblies based on the manufacturer’s specifications. We provide complete teardowns and rebuilds on hydronic pumps and installing new gaskets, seals, bearings, and impellers.
Variable Frequency Drives are the industry standard for energy efficiency in your buildings. We work on VFDs that operate pumps, fans, and compressors. Our service technicians are trained on diagnostics, repairs, and replacements on the frequency drives. We have worked with customers that had issues with their drives faulting in over-current during startup, we found that it was the control system PID loop (Proportional Integral Derivative). We PID tuned the control system and got the VFD working correctly.
How do variable frequency drives work?
A variable frequency drive (VFD) is an adjustable speed drive used to control the speed of an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the electric motor. The VFD adjusts the speed and torque of the electric motor by controlling the frequency and voltage of the power supply. The VFD also reduces energy consumption and overloading of the electric motor. The power generated by the variable frequency drive is fed by a rectifier to an inverter that converts it to a variable frequency and voltage output. This variable frequency drive output is then used to regulate the speed of the electric motor.
Roof Top Units
We have experience in crane, rigging, and handling of packaged units and systems on high-rise and large footprint facilities. Our firm provides new installations that include cutting in new roof curbs in your roofing. ETS can retrofit your roof top units to fit properly during replacement. We also provide maintenance and emergency response on packaged units.
Air Handler Systems
Energy Tech Solutions provides services on Variable Air Volume (VAV) and Fan Powered Box (FPB) systems. We handle the start, test, and balancing utilizing air flow tools to provide accurate balancing data. Our firm handles air handler replacements and retrofits.
Energy Tech services large built-up split systems that serve important areas in manufacturing and process plant work. We recently provided emergency response to the power plant control room, it is maintained by a 1993 100-Ton Trane split system. We can repair, rebuild, or replace your systems.
Our company provides piping installations for customers in water, gas, and air. Our piping techniques include, but are not limited to: welding, brazing, soldering, victaulic, propress, and mega press. A recent encounter with a client included a competitive bid. We came in $30,000 cheaper running gas piping because of our piping practices and techniques.
Air Filtration Systems
Air filtration has always been important to building operations, and the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 highlighted the importance of indoor air quality for our health. Energy Tech Solutions is a professional commercial contractor that you can trust to install the correct systems for your building. We recently installed, for a city, ionizing filter systems on all of their roof top units and air handlers. Our customers are requesting HEPA filters and MERV 13 filters to boost their indoor air quality.
VRF / VRV
VRF systems work well because they are a more flexible and efficient way to provide cooling and heating solutions for a variety of building types. Unlike traditional HVAC systems that use one centralized system for air flow throughout a building, a VRF system uses multiple indoor units to provide conditioned air to specific zones. This not only reduces energy consumption by allowing individual zones to be adjusted as needed, but also provides greater control and customization, allowing different zones to be set to different temperatures. Additionally, VRF systems are compact which makes installation much easier than traditional HVAC systems.
HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. It is responsible for providing comfortable and safe indoor air quality for both industrial and commercial businesses. It also helps to safely control and minimize energy costs associated with cooling and heating systems. HVAC services provide essential maintenance, repair, and installation services for commercial and industrial clients to ensure optimal performance and safety of their climate control systems. At a basic level, HVAC services include regular maintenance and inspections, energy evaluations, filter changes, duct system cleaning, and repairs. This helps to ensure that the HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently. It also helps to prevent costly breakdowns in the future. HVAC technicians provide both scheduled maintenance services and emergency services to clients. HVAC technicians are highly trained and equipped to handle a variety of repairs and replacements on all kinds of HVAC systems. They can diagnose and repair HVAC systems safely while minimizing disruption to the business
